Muhammad Gray - President

Mr. Gray, a native of Washington, D.C., co-founded Brighter Days Corporation in 2003.  It is his desire that Brighter Days become a vehicle to fulfill the basic needs of our youth; thus empowering them to become productive citizens in society.  Mr. Gray is a graduate of TESST College of Technology with a certification in Electronic & Computer Technology.  He began serving his community in the metropolitan area over a decade ago as a coaching mentor. He also served on the Board of Directors for Radical Fun, Inc and Youth Connection Inc. Muhammad has also served as a mentor and coach for several basketball leagues throughout Fairfax County

 

Konnetta King - Vice President

Ms. Konnetta King, a native of Richmond Virginia, co-founded Brighter Days along with Muhammad Gray in 2003.  Konnetta attended Virginia Commonwealth University, in addition to receiving an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development from J. Sergeants Reynolds Community College.  Continuing her heartfelt passion for kids, she spent 7 years as Director of Education for Kindercare before establishing Building Blocks Learning Academy in 1998.  Konnetta has served on several Boards and Community organizations.
